In 1995 became the Deputy Chief Constable of the Nottinghamshire Police retiring in 2001. He is a Visiting Professor at the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies, University of Portsmouth. He is currently working with colleagues on books relating to policing. He is a chartered forensic psychologist and was awared a PH.D. by the University of Kent for his research into police interviewing. back to speakers
