Research, Policy and Practice

The Centre for Investigative Psychology at the University of Liverpool, with the support of the Safer Merseyside Partnership, hosted a one-day conference exploring the range of concerns and issues surrounding street prostitution.

The Conference provided a forum for the presentation of the current research, from the UK and overseas, on street sex workers, as well as an opportunity to discuss the strategic and policy issues that the many different professional groups and policy workers are tackling with in this area.
